D-Day!
So it’s the start of yet another hectic week that I’m totally not looking forward to! I want to desperately go back to the lazy days of three months ago when I could take days off to spend time watching the imperceptible yet undoubted aging of my wall paint…Siiiigh! Seems a distant dream…a bittersweet memory even. But seriously, I’m on tender hooks. This hectic schedule just doesn’t fit in with my tender Libran sensibilities. I’m going to wait out this week and then just reassess the situation. I’ve had no time to paint, to write..(this blog may be good for random readings but serious literature it just ain’t!!) ..hell I’ve had no time to scratch my arse! I’m giving myself pedicures…cos the damn parlour is shut by the time I get there! There has to be an end to such hardship! So the countdown begins now. Hopefully by the end of this week I’ll be back to being the carefree whimsical lovable..(optimistic??) nut I was!
But on a brighter note, yesterday was spent basking in the warm sunlight, sipping cold beer, watching gorgeous men on gorgeous animals chase a ball! Went to the finals of the Polo matches yesterday and boy was there some eye candy or what! Ok so it was marred by the occasional spurts of work..(..my company sponsored the event!) but lovely nonetheless! Saturday night saw us revisiting the “Hookah” Bar and strangely enough Djinns! The last time I was there was when I’d first moved to Delhi 4 years ago..(and neels can attest to some mighty strange adventures indeed)…but that’s another story for another blog!!
Well it’s back to the old grind now so I guess this is it. More when it happens…
Life is short
Do what you must
Go with what you trust
Everything else is rot
